Some of Our Bravest and Finest

This film, which highlights a parade of local fire fighters and their equipment, was shot in downtown Bridgeport in 1912. The film also depicts many Bridgeport street scenes with diverse crowds of spectators and a full complement of features from city life such as the once prominent trolley, early automobiles, many buildings and businesses. Most significantly, the end portion of the film shows workers, men and women, entering and exiting the Remington UMC plant on the City's East Side.
